145/365: Vegetarian nightmare
Markets are so much fun, even if the ones in Spain are predominantly filled with ham stands. A couple more photos from today are here. And I wasn't about to make this the picture of the day, but for the sheer grotesqueness of it, check this out.

There are markets similar to that one in the Italian section of my city. I clicked through to your grotesque selection and just had to send you a link to a post from my husband's 365 blog. Hopefully you won't be too grossed out but this was literally wedding fare... he shot it since he is a wedding photographer as his rl job.

Is this the market in the middle of Barcelona? I can't remember the name of it, but when I was there I remember the fish displays....there were things in there I had NEVER seen, had NO idea existed, much less that people ate them! To be western Europe, I remember that market seeming so very exotic. I'll have to click through the gross section and look.
dalissa--yikes!
my15minutes--it's not the Boqueria, although it's another market right in the middle of the city called Santa Caterina.
