Everything has to be organic these days. Even though I'm in favor, it's easy to get cynical.

it *is* the new word of a quick sell.
Could there be inorganic topsoil? Is dirt not inherently organic?
I guess the idea is that there are no petroleum-based fertilizer in the soil (it comes from a place that was never treated). That's what organic vegetable production is about--the fertilizers are manure, not nitrogen.
Yeah, I can get that. It just struck me as odd. Dirt should be organic! Additives suck.
