On the Mt. Taurus/Bull Hill hike, there's ample opportunity for exploring the ruins of an old dairy farm that was built in the 1920s, abandoned in the 1930s, and suffered a fire in the 1950s. More photos at Flickr.
Ampersand--definitely not (there were 7 portrait pictures in July, if I counted right), but I prefer it. Mostly because I like the way it looks better on my computer screen.
Ahh, my bad. A lack of close observation on my part, I guess I just had the overall impression of *landscape* from your blog. I do so like the big, landscape orientation when I see it on your blog.

This is wonderful, Ianqui. I really love this.
This is beautiful. Is this your first shot (on this blog) in portrait orientation?
I keep noticing how I tend to shoot in portrait, which in turn made me notice how disciplined you are with landscape orientation.
