161/365: Abandoned in Fort Tilden
Today we biked around Fort Tilden, an former army installation, now part of Gateway National Recreation Area, that's been many things over the years. Today, all of the buildings are abandoned, and therefore, by definition, creepy. If you carefully look at the windows in the larger building, you'll notice you're looking straight through to the dunes on the other side.

This reminds me of where we vacation... Peaks Island, Maine. There is an abandoned military base on the island that is also great for exploring.
