79/365: Long live the hippies
On my walk to work, I was feeling uninspired about having to take a photo today. Then I noticed a sign for an anti-war rally at noon. You can't beat these rallies for photo ops. The cigarette, the sunglasses, the beret, the pins, the washboard—the New York modern hippie.

This is a great project, looking forward to following it.
I would rather categorize that person as an "executive beatnik."
She looks a bit like Tom Cruise's wife...what's her name...she used to have her own name right?
I think it's the over-stuffed jiffy-pop beret that really does it. And honestly, I'm all for peace and all, but is that "musical instrument" really going to help that cause much?
